Second Chinatown Foodies Quarters WalkA 3.5 hour walk starting at Chinatown Moose Statue located at 393 Dundas Street West (southwest corner of Dundas and Beverley intersection). This is a gastronomic tour includes seasonal food and drink samples and shopping. The walk starts at a Taiwanese bakery sampling traditional and new snacks. Next, over to a Chinese herbal and tea shop to sample freshly brewed tea and enjoy dried snacks. An Asian supermarket and restaurant supplier are next. The last stop on the tour is a Dim Sum luncheon. Learn how to use chopsticks, pour tea and dim sum etiquette. Snacks are pre-ordered so reservations are preferred. Next stop, a Middle Eastern grocery store to sip tea and enjoy Lebanese delights. Also included is a sampling of Latin American snacks, dessert at a chocolate shop featuring Belgian chocolates and truffles. Tours are limited to 12 people so book early.
