Access to the park is by water only so you will need your own boat or use the private water taxi service available as it is 5 kilometers from the mainland to the park.

Second Chinatown Foodies Quarters Walk

A 3.5 hour walk starting at Chinatown Moose Statue located at 393 Dundas Street West (southwest corner of Dundas and Beverley intersection). This is a gastronomic tour includes seasonal food and drink samples and shopping.

The walk starts at a Taiwanese bakery sampling traditional and new snacks. Next, over to a Chinese herbal and tea shop to sample freshly brewed tea and enjoy dried snacks. An Asian supermarket and restaurant supplier are next. The last stop on the tour is a Dim Sum luncheon. Learn how to use chopsticks, pour tea and dim sum etiquette.

Snacks are pre-ordered so reservations are preferred. There is a maximum of 15 people per tour on Saturday, Sunday and during the Chinese New Year.

Kensington Foodies Roots Walk

Another 3.5 hour gastronomic walking tour. The walk starts at the Red pole with Black Cat located at 350 Spadina Avenue (1 block north of Dundas Street West).

This tour starts of tasting Jewish and South Asian snacks at a local micro-roasterv. Then off along the vintage and Japanese rows. Next stop, a Middle Eastern grocery store to sip tea and enjoy Lebanese delights.

Also included is a sampling of Latin American snacks, dessert at a chocolate shop featuring Belgian chocolates and truffles.

Tours are limited to 12 people so book early. Bring along some empty bags or knapsack for shopping during the tour or after the tour is complete.
